Frequently Asked Questions :

During your initial evaluation, your provider will determine the best method for administering your sleep evaluation. If your provider determines that you would benefit from observation in a sleep lab, you will be referred to one of the many in-lab sleep facilities in the DFW area with which we have built and fostered a trusted, professional relationship.

Not at all! The sleep study is not invasive and is meant to simply observe your sleep patterns through topically-attached monitors.

During polysomnography, monitors will measure and record your breathing rate, brain waves, blood oxygen level, and your heart rate while you are in a state of sleep. These measurements will then be used to determine if you may be suffering from a sleep disorder.

The recorded results from your sleep study can be a determining factor in diagnosing a sleep disorder. If your results indicate an existing sleep disorder, your provider will meet with you to discuss the results and the best treatment plan for you to manage the disorder and to maximize your quality of life and overall well-being.

There are numerous ways that we can help get you back to sleeping better, including verifying the possible existence of a sleep disorder. The most common sleep disorders that we treat are the following:

  • Primary Snoring
  • Sleep Apnea
  • Parasomnias
  • Restless Leg Syndrome
  • Narcolepsy
  • Insomnia Nocturia
  • Circadian Rhythm Disorders

Testimonials

Our patients LOVE us! Find out why.

“Wow is all I can say! My mind is still blown. For the last 5+ years I’ve been complaining to different doctors about my issues with insomnia, nighttime urination, and daytime fatigue. So I went out of my way to do my own research, which led me to Dr. Dibra, and I’m so glad I did because now I finally have a proper diagnosis! After completing the at home sleep study, I was diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea. I’m so excited and feel like I finally will be able to get restful sleep!”

“Dr. Dibra was very helpful. I have been battling insomnia for over three years, and their explanation for what I am going through made more sense than what I have been told by the many doctors I consulted previously. Thank you!”

- Anonymous

“Not all doctors will take a young woman seriously when she says she is excessively tired during the day, but Dr. Dibra did. She found out why, prescribed medication, and it has significantly improved my quality of life.”
